'Straight Outta Compton' Trailer: Ice Cube, Dr. Dre and Eazy-E Rap to Reflect Reality (Video)
Snoop Dogg is also a character in the biopic hitting theaters this summer
Ice Cube, Dr. Dre and Eazy-E's tough personal lives before they made it big as members of N.W.A. are revealed in a new trailer for upcoming biopic "Straight Outta Compton."
Universal Pictures' Aug. 14 release chronicles the rise of the group from the streets of South Central Los Angeles in 1986 to music superstardom.
When one reporter at a press conference complains that the group's songs "glamorize gangs and drugs," Ice Cube (O'Shea Jackson Jr.) corrects him by explaining, "Our art is a reflection of our reality."
